Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano located in Tanzania, East Africa. It is the highest mountain in Africa, standing at an impressive height of 19,341 feet (5,895 meters) above sea level. By Air: Fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), located near the town of Arusha in Tanzania. Many international airlines offer flights to this airport.
By Road: If you are in Arusha, you can also take a public bus or a private vehicle to reach Kilimanjaro National Park. Buses and taxis are easily available from Arusha city center.
